Super Green Sauce (Nut-Free Pesto)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, rough chopped
  • 1 cup fresh baby kale/spinach leaves without stems (I prefer the baby leaves)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 4 roasted garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in your blender or food processor. 
  2. Blend until smooth. 
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
