Ingredients
- 1 medium apple, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 1 tablespoon grated onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1 1/2 teaspoons rubbed sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 pound ground turkey
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except ground turkey.
- Add the ground turkey and mix well. Shape mix into 4 patties. Cook the patties 6 – 7 minutes on each side in a grill pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Serve on whole wheat hamburger buns and top with your favorite condiments.
