Beer Cured Turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dark beer
  • 1 tablespoon powdered caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon powdered Marjoram
  • 1 heaping tablespoon brown sugar
  • Touch of salt
  • 1 medium (12-14 pounds) turkey

Directions

  1. Mix dark beer, powdered caraway seeds, powdered Marjoram, brown sugar and salt in blender.
  2. Using a syringe, inject mixture under the skin and into the breast and thigh meat.
  3. Rest for two hours or overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Brush turkey with oil and roast at 350°For 2-3 hours.
