Ingredients

Chicken Fingers

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1-1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 3/4 inch strips

Breading options

  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists, crushed
  • 2 cups cheddar-flavor crackers, crushed
  • 2 cups party mix, crushed
  • 3 cups potato chips, crushed
  • 4 cups tortilla chips, crushed

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brush a 15x10x1 baking sheet with oil; set aside.
  3. Combine egg, sour cream, salt, garlic powder and pepper in a medium bowl. Add chicken strips and stir to coat.
  4. Roll chicken pieces in desired breading, pressing to coat. Arrange chicken on baking pan, leaving space between the strips.
  5. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with dipping sauce.
