How much does Canada love a good Bloody Mary? So much that their twist on the brunch cocktail, the Bloody Caesar (or just Caesar depending on where you're ordering), is its official national drink. Technically its recipe is very similar to a Bloody Mary (the main difference is the substitution of Clamato juice for tomato juice) and yet the drink definitely has a taste all its own. In honor of our month-long brunch celebration, we present our recipe for a classic Bloody Caesar.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce vodka
- 3 ounces Clamato juice
- 1/2 ounce Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 ounce your favorite brand hot sauce
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 pinch celery salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- Fresh lime juice (to taste)
Directions
- Fill a specialty or highball glass with ice. Pour in vodka then Clamato juice.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Top with your favorite garnish and serve immediately.
