DIY Bug Repellent

This summer's hot weather is a haven for bugs, but there's a homemade bug repellent that's easy to make and adds to the ambiance of a backyard party or family cookout.

You may already have most of the ingredients for this DIY Bug Repellent. The lemon eucalyptus essential oil, which is a key ingredient, is easy to find at aromatherapy stores, some drug stores or online.

Along with the lemon eucalyptus oil, other essential oils like cedarwood and lavender are known to be good at repelling bugs.

Tip: Before placing the floating tea candle into the jar, trim the candle wick with Super Shears (kitchen shears) to 1/8 inch for the ideal flame.
