Prosecco and Elderflower Spritz

Occasionally I like to highlight a drink on our blog, and a few years ago we featured a Festive Winter Holiday Citrus Cocktail that used elderflower liqueur. I was more familiar with using this liqueur in baking, as it lends a subtle floral sweetness to light cakes and can also be used in frosting or as a drizzle for cake. Using it in our winter cocktail got me thinking that it would actually be a great liquor to highlight for a refreshing spring or summer beverage.

With a little bit of research and taste testing, this Prosecco and Elderflower Spritz checked all the boxes for our team. Light, floral and effortlessly elegant, this cocktail is the kind of drink you pour when you want something refreshing and a little special. With its soft elderflower sweetness, bubbly prosecco and crisp splash of soda, it’s the perfect companion for spring brunches, summer evenings on the patio or any moment that calls for a touch of sparkle. If you’re looking for an easy, crowd-pleasing cocktail that tastes as beautiful as it looks, this is about to become your new go-to.

Prepping the Ingredients

This recipe is for one cocktail and the prep couldn’t be easier. If you’re serving more than yourself, just increase the ingredients at the same ratio.

Start by slicing a lime with the Mini Cheese Knife. The Micro-Double-D™ edge on this knife is perfect for cutting through the skin of both limes and lemons.
