Top 10 Recipes of 2024
At Cutco we’re fortunate to have some great culinary partners who come into our kitchen to cook. Many of their recipes make our list of top 10 recipes of 2024. What I like about them is they take you from breakfast to dinner. And, while comfort foods carried the day, there were a few more exotic dishes, including a Persian salad and a new twist on deviled eggs.
So here are our top 10 recipes of 2024, in no particular order.
Chicken Parmigiana
While the list is really in no particular order, this by far was our most popular recipe. It was brought to our kitchen by Maddalena and Mauro Castano. It is a popular Italian dish, but the Castanos like to make it with super thin chicken cutlets, which takes it to a whole other level.
Creamy Rotisserie Chicken Salad With Dill and Cranberries
This is not your ordinary chicken salad. There is so much flavor and texture in this recipe that it might just be the best sandwich filling ever. Better yet, using a rotisserie chicken means it is easy to make. You can serve it between two slices of bread or in a pita or in a lettuce cup.
Steak Pizzaiola
This is the Castanos’ second recipe to make the list. It’s clear that they cook from the heart, and this recipe is a good representation of how much love they put into every dish. It is a family favorite and has become a staple in their house. Steak Pizzaiola is a full meal all in one, including meat, vegetables and sauce. Serve it with some crusty bread to sop everything up.
Blueberry Lemon Cake With Olive Oil
If you’ve never had an olive oil cake, you don’t know what you’re missing. This recipe from longtime culinary partner Barbara Seelig Beyer is super moist, with bright lemon flavor and bursts of sweet, tart blueberries. Not only does it taste delicious, but garnished with edible flowers, it’s a real showstopper. Dessert is served!
Breakfast Pizza With Eggs and Bacon
Looking for all of your favorite breakfast foods in one dish? This is it. Culinary partner Erin Burch’s brought this recipe to the Cutco kitchen. She’s a registered and certified dietitian nutritionist, and she shared this somewhat lightened up version of breakfast pizza. What we love about Erin is that her recipes, including this one, are thoughtful when it comes to healthy eating, but they don’t skimp on the flavor or satisfaction.
Fresh Bagels With Vegetable Cream Cheese
If you’re like me you probably think bagels are hard to make at home. But, I’m here to tell you that they are unbelievably easy to make using this recipe from our friends at New York Kitchen. The cream cheese spread is packed with fresh vegetables and has the perfect amount of garlic powder and onion powder for full flavor. One bite of these and you may never visit another bagel shop again.
Chicken Pot Pie
Does comfort food get any better than Chicken Pot Pie? Another recipe from Barbara Seelig Beyer, it is an easy, one-dish dinner that really hits the spot. This dish is chock full of veggies, tender chicken and a savory gravy, and topped with a buttery pie crust, who could ask for more!
Persian Salad (Salad Shirazi)
Refreshing, simple and flavorful. That’s the best way to describe this palate-pleasing salad from culinary partner Angie Shaghaghi. What’s surprising about this cucumber, tomato and red onion salad is the full flavor it gets from the lime and fresh cilantro.
Radish Asparagus Salad
Another refreshing salad made the list this year. A zesty vinaigrette is the perfect accompaniment for this salad of radishes, asparagus, garbanzo beans, pine nuts, capers and parsley. It’s summer in a bowl!
Smoky Angel Eggs With Bacon and Jalapeño
Perhaps the most unique recipe making our top 10 recipes of 2024 list is this one. It’s a subtle twist on deviled eggs that has them sit upright instead of on their side. It’s the creative recipe brought to us by culinary partner Pam Smith. Pam’s recipe are always big on flavor and this one is no different. These eggs make an impression both in looks and taste.
