Top 10 Recipes of 2025
This year’s top 10 recipes of 2025 for the Cutco blog came as a bit of a surprise. In previous years comfort food and old favorites populated the list, but this year it is a bit different. Our readers craved recipes that were twists on the traditional – and ones with bold, bright flavors. One thing that hasn’t changed is the desire for recipes that are easy to make.
Now, here are the top 10. (And, there’s an honorable mention you won’t want to miss!)
Lemon Tiramisu
Just saying the name of this recipe makes your mouth water. Courtesy of our friends and culinary partners Maddalena and Mauro Castano, this Lemon Tiramisu left a mark on all of us. Their version really delivers on that bright lemony flavor as it uses limoncello in place of the traditional Masala wine. We dare you to limit yourself to just one piece.
French Onion Chicken
Here is one recipe that speaks to that twist on the traditional theme. Think of it as French onion soup meets sautéed chicken. Brought to the Cutco kitchen by chef Marianne Brand, French Onion Chicken has all those savory, umami notes of the onion soup, layered together with protein-packed chicken.
Slow Cooker Easy Lasagna Soup
This is one recipe that many on our Cutco team couldn’t wait to go home and make themselves. Creative cook and culinary influencer Michael Averett’s Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup reinvents the classic favorite into soup form, and it’s brilliant. If ever there was a twist on the traditional, this is it. It’s so easy to make and delivers that same comfort as lasagna casserole.
Creme Brulee Overnight French Toast Bake
This recipe will fill your house with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Is it creme brulee or French toast? It’s both! That’s what makes is so amazing. Chef Pam Smith knows flavor and this overnight bake recipe is one that is hard to forget.
Corn and Bacon Chowder
This might be the most traditional recipe that made the list. But even it is a bit of a twist. Normally you would hear of a corn and ham chowder, but this version uses bacon in place of ham. It's another winner from chef Marianne Brand who developed the recipe because she really doesn’t care for the texture of ham. Thank goodness for us – because – BACON!
Easy Mediterranean Pasta
Give me a recipe with Mediterranean flavors and I’m in heaven. This Easy Mediterranean Pasta is a recipe developed by our in-house cook Sharon Myers. Fresh ingredients and familiar flavors of olives, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and lemon make it a bright and satisfying pasta salad.
Avgolemono Soup
This is one of my favorite soups, ever! Avgolemono Soup (Greek Egg-Lemon Chicken Soup) is light, lemony and oh, so satisfying. The soup, developed by Sharon Myers, includes typical chicken soup ingredients, but with that lemon burst, it becomes something special. Bonus – it’s thickened with eggs instead of cream or butter, so it’s a great recipe for anyone who is lactose intolerant.
One Pot Chicken Pesto Pasta
One pot meals always get some love on our blog. Not only do our reader love them, so do we. This recipe for One Pot Chicken Pesto Pasta from registered/certified dietitian nutritionist and culinary partner Erin Burch delivers robust flavor. It’s an easy-to-make, complete meal that will win a regular rotation on your menu.
Egg Roll in a Bowl
This is the perfect example of reinventing a recipe. It’s another hard-to-resist dish from Maddalena and Mauro Castano. Egg Roll in a Bowl has all the great Asian flavors of your favorite take-out egg roll, without the deep frying. Dig in!
Cucumber and Carrot Salad
This is another flavorful Asian-inspired dish on our list. It’s a surprising way to serve cucumbers and carrots and is another great recipe from Erin Burch. She took ribbons of both vegetables and added those aromatic salty, sweet flavors for this Cucumber and Carrot Salad. Who would have thought that these two mild vegetables could have so much flavor!
Honorable Mention:
Raspberry and Mascarpone Puff Pastry Delight
Okay, while this didn’t make the list, it’s so good we had to include it! It’s another easy and delicious dessert from the Castanos. I mean, how can you resist puff pastry filled with mascarpone cheese and raspberry puree? Sweet, indulgent and irresistible, this is a recipe that’s been made over and over again by our team at Cutco. Try it and you’ll see why we can’t stop thinking about it.
And with that, our top 10 recipes of 2025 list is complete. It was a delicious year and can’t wait to cook up some tasty treats in 2026. Give these a try and let us know which is your favorite.
